Very nice and rare aluminum Erkennungsmarke from a member of the Musik-Korps of Infanterie-Regiment 162, which was part of the 61. Infanterie-Division.

It was found on the Leningrad front, where this unit was deployed in the second half of 1943. It later retreated to Estonia and fought at the Narva front.

The condition is very good, with the text clearly readable.

A Musik-Korps was usually a very small unit, platoon-size, which makes it very rare to find such tags.
