Cost of delivery: €35

An original Wehrmacht M40 steel helmet with winter camouflage paint, a remarkable relic of WW2 German militaria. Manufactured by Eisenhüttenwerke Thale and marked ET 62, this helmet is a size 55 and was recovered from Võrumaa, Estonia, a region rich in Eastern Front history.

The helmet retains much of its white winter camo, applied by soldiers during harsh winter campaigns to blend into snowy environments. Though the liner is missing, the piece stands as a raw and authentic example of Wehrmacht field gear.

Võrumaa, located in southern Estonia, was a significant site during the German-Soviet conflict in World War II, particularly in the latter stages of the war. The fighting in Võrumaa occurred primarily during the summer and fall of 1944, as part of the broader Baltic Offensive carried out by the Red Army to push German forces out of the Baltic states.

This helmet is an excellent addition to any collection of authentic WW2 German artifacts, appealing to enthusiasts of Wehrmacht memorabilia, Third Reich collectibles, and Eastern Front relics.
