Very nice and rare Erkennungsmarke from a member of Füsilier-Regiment 22, which was formed in November 1942 as part of the 1. Infanterie-Division.

This unit was fighting in Königsberg (nowadays Kaliningrad) in January and February 1945.

The tag was found in a forest about 3 kilometers from the road from Kaliningrad to Baltiysk. It is very good condition, and the abbreviation K.G. is very interesting and must stand for Kampfgruppe.
