Two very nice group photos from a member of SS-Standarte "Deutschland" in 1940-41. One group photo has been taken in the München-Freimann barracks, where regiment "Deutschland" was stationed, while the other one was taken in Oberau near Berchtesgaden, just northeast of the Obersalzberg.

In Oberau a small training compound was situated for political courses.

Early (brand-new) M37 uniforms can be seen on both pictures, as well as the classic SS1 collar tabs. Both photos are in postcard-size.
