Wonderful and rare aluminum Erkennungsmarke from a member of the 5./SS-Polizei-Regiment 2, which was part of the 4. SS-Polizei-Division, later renamed into 4. SS-Polizei-Panzer-Grenadier-Division.

The tag was found in a former POW camp in Sinzig in Germany, and must have been abandoned there by its owner.

The condition of the tag is incredible, with only a few dents and scratches.
