Luftwaffe Ground Assault Badge with pin, Germany
€165.00
Cost of delivery: €16
Nice and honest battlefield-found Luftwaffe Ground Assault Badge (Erdkampfabzeichen der Luftwaffe), with the Luftwaffe eagle above a cloud and lightning bolt in an oak leaf wreath.
It was introduced on 31 March 1942, and which was awarded to Luftwaffe personnel for participating in ground battles. The badge was found in Germany, but we don't know the exact location. Some of the original silver finish has been preserved on the backside, as well as the pin.
A good example of a battlefield relic of this badge.
