Perfect textbook example of a very rare zinc Erkennungsmarke from a recruit in the 3rd replacement company of the LSSAH. This unit was staioned in Berlin, and was later reformed into SS-Panzer-Grenadier-Aubsildungs-und-Ersatz-Bataillon 1.

We do not know where it was found, but it might be researched further by the new owner. The tag is in incredibly nice condition with the classic deep inprinting of the stamping.
