Original Third Reich Wall Plaque - "Mahnmal München" (Feldherrnhalle Memorial), c. 1933–1939

Period commemorative wall decoration depicting the Ehrenmal at the Feldherrnhalle in Munich. Heavy silvered metal relief plaque mounted on an octagonal black-lacquered wooden panel, approx. 16 × 17 cm, with the original triangular hanging fitting secured on the reverse.

The relief reproduces the memorial structure in fine detail: the national eagle clutching a wreath above the "N.S.D.A.P." header, followed by the cast dedication text naming the sixteen men who fell on 9 November 1923 at the Feldherrnhalle and in the courtyard of the War Ministry — Allfarth, Bauriedl, Casella, Ehrlich, Faust, Hechenberger, Körner, Kuhn, Laforce, Neubauer, v. d. Pfordten, Rickmers, v. Scheubner-Richter, Stransky and Wolf. Below, the stepped base with laurel garlands carries the banner "MAHNMAL MÜNCHEN" above a scrolled cartouche.

These plaques were produced during the Third Reich period as domestic commemorative pieces referencing the Munich memorial and appear regularly in documented European auction sales, making them a recognized and researched collectible type.
