Wonderful and rare zinc Erkennungsmarke from a member of the Polizei-Waffenschule I. The tag was found together with two field-made aluminum runes in Adollfof in Czech Republic and probably thrown away in May 1945.

The Polizei-Waffenschule I was located in Dresden-Hellerau. Personnel and students of this school were used to form the 35. SS-Polizei-Grenadier-Division in 1945. The tag is in very nice solid condition with the text clearly readable.

Together, a very fascinating set, most likely of a police member who was transferred to a Waffen-SS unit and decided to create his own collar tab.
