Very nice and rare zinc Erkennungsmarke from a recruit in the 1./SS-Kavallerie-Ersatz-Abteilung, which was formed in Warschau in 1941, and later moved to Posen.
It was reformed into SS-Kavallerie-Ausbildungs-und-Ersatz-Abteilung in 1944 and moved to its final destination: Beneschau in Czech Republic.
It was found near Pisek, and was most probably thrown away in May 1945.
The tag is in very nice, solid condition with the text clearly readable.
A textbook tag of this unit is rare to find.
