Very nice textbook zinc Erkennungsmarke from a recruit in the 4. Ersatz-Kompanie of SS-Regiment "Deutschland", which was part of the 2. SS-Panzer-Division "Das Reich".
It was found in Aussig, nowadays Ústí nad Labem, in the Czech Republic, and it must have been thrown away in May 1945.
The tag is broken, but in nice condition, with the text clearly readable.
It has the classic font for this kind of tag.
