Fascinating piece of history. An original single decal SS M42 helmet, which was found in Jägala, roughly 30 kilometers east of Tallinn.

In Jägala was a relatively small concentration camp of the SD, a so-called Arbeitserziehungslager, but thousands of Jews and other victims were executed nearby in Kalevi-Liiva.

The helmet itself is in typical ground-dug condition, but with the decal and most of its paint nicely preserved.

It comes with the original leather liner, which became loose.

An intriguing helmet that bears a connection to the Holocaust in Estonia.
