Very rare zinc Erkennungsmarke from a member of SS-Wachbataillon 4 "Kurmark", which was formed at the end of 1943, to guard the SS training grounds in Kurmark.

It was found in Germany. Its owner was probably transferred to a fighting unit in 1945.

Many of these units ended up in the Halbe pocket near Berlin in 1945. The condition of the tag is very good and a textbook example for this unit.
