Nice and desirable zinc Erkennungsmarke from a recruit in the SS-Kavallerie-Ausbildungs-und-Ersatz-Abteilung, which was the training unit for the 8. SS-Kavallerie-Division. It was stationed in Warsaw and later moved to Posen.

The tag has been found in Hungary, although we do not know the exact location, so we assume it belonged to a member of either the 8th or 22th SS cavalry division.
