Very nice and rare zinc Erkennungsmarke from a member of SS-Panzer-Grenadier-Ausbildungs-und Ersatz-Bataillon 1, which was the training unit of the 1. SS-Panzer-Division "LSSAH".

The numbers were combined with letters, as we can see here with the 9 (a low number) with the X, designating a series.

Classic textbook example for this unit, and there is a big chance that the owner ended up in the "LSSAH" division.
