Super nice and very rare Cupal M1/72 Fritz Zimmermann visor cap eagle from the Cherkassy pocket in Ukraine. The condition is incredibly good considering it was ground-dug, and both pins are intact, as well as the silver finish. They don't come better than this.

It must have belonged to a member of the 5. SS-Panzer-Division "Wiking", which suffered heavy casualties during its break-out from the Cherkassy pocket in February 1944.

Incredible piece from a very historical place.
